The Black Friday designer sale 2020 is coming up next month and we’re already compiling our wish lists across luxury brands like Gucci, Stella McCartney and Prada.
Huge retailers, stocking a wealth of different designers, including John Lewis, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Net-A-Porter are all set to take part in Black Friday on November 27 this year. Which means discounts on everything from designer clothes and shoes, to deals on Mulberry handbags and Hermes scarves.

What designers do Black Friday?
It’s more a question of which designers don’t have items discounted in the Black Friday sales these days, as so many of the world’s best-known and loved brands have seen their clothes and shoes offered at up to 80% off during the Black Friday designer sale.
While many designers may not directly participate in Black Friday through their official websites or stores, what is advantageous for shoppers is that the stockists of the luxury labels all do take part in Black Friday.
Thanks to the likes of The Outnet, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Net-A-Porter, there are normally a vast number of designer discounts to be had.
Designers included in Black Friday discounts in the past have included:
- Dolce & Gabbana
- Hayley Menzies
- Oscar de la Renta
- Paloma Wool
- Roberto Cavalli
- Saint Laurent
- Stella McCartney
- Tom Ford
- Victoria Beckham
… and many more!
Black Friday designer sale deals: What discounts we expect to see and where
Harvey Nichols offered an impressive 25% off all fashion last year, which included designers such as Gucci, Stella McCartney and Burberry. We expect to see a similar deal this year and another chance to save on luxury labels.
Net-a-porter topped Harvey Nichols when it came to discounts last year with an impressive 50% off designer fashion. With brands that range from Prada to Cartier, we’re hoping to see similar discounts this year across many of their top designers.
If you’re hoping to shop designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry, Off White or Reformation then Selfridges will be your go to this year – we’re expecting them to offer at least 15% off based on their sale last year.
For even bigger savings, head to discounted luxury retailer The Outnet this year. For designer clothes but with an unbeatable discount, The Outnet is your go-to and the site offered up to 80% off everything last year. With Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and Jimmy Choo just some of the designers sold through The Outnet, the site is definitely one to watch this year.

If there’s one luxury designer brand we all want to see included in the sales, it’s Gucci. In the past, the stylish brand has included some of their items in the Black Friday sales, but they don’t always include all of the bestselling bits that we all want to get our hands on.
Luckily, there are a number of luxury retailers that also stock the glam brand and may include them in some of their discounts. As for us, these are the bits we’re most hoping to see in the Gucci Black Friday sales…
