  • Martin Lewis’ Amazon deals secret was revealed on an episode of his ITV show this evening.

Let’s face it – we all love an Amazon purchase – and excitingly, Amazon Prime Day 2020 is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to shop some of the best hair dryer deals, best straightener deals, and all sorts of offers and discounts on eReaders, beauty products, and yoga mats.

But ahead of the online mega-sale, the money saving expert himself, Martin Lewis, shared with viewers a secret section of the Amazon website on his show this evening. And you can find out all about it below.

Shop discounts on the Amazon Warehouse here

Martin told viewers that if they visit the main Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com homepage, and navigate to the ‘All’ drop-down menu next to the search bar, they should see something called the Amazon Warehouse. Here, Martin explained, you will find “Amazon discounts on returned items” – e.g, Amazon items that customers have returned, but are still in good condition. The MSE said, “All its returned items go there, and don’t worry, it will tell you the quality of the product.”

He explained on the moneysavingexpert website, “It offers items that are in a good condition but don’t meet Amazon’s standard as ‘new’, so are sold at a discounted price. There may be the odd blemish on the box, cosmetic wear-and-tear or missing minor accessories like a manual, but items are almost as good as new, with defects most people wouldn’t really care about – though you will get an idea of the defect before buying. “

Items will be categorised as either ‘Used – like new’, ‘Used – very good’, ‘Used – good’, or ‘Used – acceptable’

On the secret section of the website, Martin reassured that Amazon Warehouse will inform you of the discount on the item, and share what sort of quality it is in before you buy.

For example, one of the deals noted on the show was £30 off a Nespresso coffee machine, returned by a shopper.

And for those still uncertain, it’s worth noting that you still get Amazon’s 30-day returns policy on an item bought from the Amazon Warehouse – so even if you purchase and decide you too don’t want the item, you can also take it back.
