The Good Morning Britain star is well prepared for any eventuality…
Ranvir Singh has revealed what’s emergency supplies she has in her dressing room ahead of Strictly Come Dancing 2020.
The TV presenter, who is partnered with Italian professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, is gearing up to take to the dancefloor with her partner this weekend. The show is something Dawn French admitted earlier this month she’d never do Strictly Come Dancing.
Ranvir shard with fans the contents of her emergency kit when she uploaded a snap to her Instagram and captioned it, “I’m not sure which order I’ll be using these essential items in today, for our first studio rehearsal with full lights, camera, action! Thank you @elstreestudios for the champers!!! @bbcstrictly @pernicegiovann1.”
The pack includes a bottle of champagne, Berocca vitamins, Nurofen pain killers, Sure deodorant, a packet of plasters, a tube of Deep Heat rub cream for aches and pains, plus a packet of Compeed blister patches and two oranges.
And fans are keen to point her towards the drink. One fan put, “Start with the bubbles”, another said, “I know Ranvir, it will be the Champers first!” and a third added, “Best of luck with everything and hope you go far x.”
Speaking about her partner Giovanni, Ranvir said, “The brilliant @pernicegiovann1 is my pro dance partner for @bbcstrictly #2020 😆 Besides the obvious fact that EVERYONE I know is jealous 😂 this champion is a determined teacher who is already making me do things I never thought I could 💃🏽! So we will see you for the #pasodoble next Saturday for the live show!!! My feet hate me – but I’m telling them the pain will be worth it!!”
The dance contest returns with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman who made a surprising confession about Strictly, saying she suffers from “imposter syndrome”
Strictly, which is in it’s 18th series, will start tomorrow 24th October when the line-up will be waltzing onto the dance floor along with the Strictly Come Dancing professionals.
It will be the show’s first ever socially distanced concept and features the first same sex couple pairing Nicola Adams and Katya Jones.
