Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes seem to have gone from strength to strength as a couple.
The pair may, live work and rest together, but it seems that rather than getting on each other’s nerves like many couples would, the TV duo are just as in love with each other as when they first met back in 1997.
Celebrating his 40th anniversary on TV, Eamonn delighted fans with a throwback picture from the early days of his TV career.
‘My journey in TV all began in Oct 1980. 40 years ago this very month with my beloved Ulster Television. It seems like yesterday. So Happy Anniversary to me [cake emoji],’ he wrote.
‘Plenty more chapters to write I hope. Thank you for being there and I hope you’ll be with me in the future too.
Wife Ruth Langsford is always keen to show her support for Eamonn, commenting on the post, ‘Happy Anniversary gorgeous! [lips emoji].’
Eamonn is best know for being part of regular This Morning presenting duo with wife Ruth, but he started out his career back in homeland Ireland. Eamonn started his career at the young age of 21 when he joined Ulster Television, which is part of the Northern Ireland franchise of ITV back in 1979. Eamonn moved up the ranks and eventually became presenter of flagship show Good Evening Ulster.
Followers and fans were quick to comment on Eamonn’s post.
‘Happy tv birthday you total legend and lovely man,’ Davina McCall wrote. While fellow This Morning star Rochelle Holmes wrote, ‘You are a legend. Happy Anniversary Mr H.’
Others were quick to comment on Eamonn’s youthful looks, with one follower commenting, ‘Christ you don’t look a day over 20 there eamonn. Looking fresh still tho 🔥’
